I used to just watch Diana sing the Queen of The Night aria on Youtube. Seeing her perform live is just a treat. A birthday treat if you will.
The concert was held at the Esplanade. It is also our first time going inside the concert hall. Esplanade is mainly a place to go when we have guests. We bring people here to eat at the Makansutra and see the merlion and the Marina Bay Sands. It is a new experience to be in Esplanade for something more artistic.
Hello there SSO! These guys are talented. Listening to these kind of music live is heaven. I still cannot find the title of that first number they did. It sounds very familiar to old cartoons and from comedic movies but I can't find it online. Maybe in the future I will know what overture it is. We are located somewhere in front. We sat next to these classy Japanese ladies wearing kimono. We definitely feel the culture.
When Diana finally came out, I did not take any more photos. I still don't do that. I just enjoy the performance. It was a very lovely experience and I am very happy I did buy tickets for this. The applause and the encore feels like it went for thirty minutes. I wish she comes back sometime soon.
