The Queen's English

Walking under the Bridge in New Bridge Road, I found the note on the artworks

Queen's English, you don't say. Urban Dictionary's top definition is this:

The irony. Very strong is it

Belle’s Town in the Movie Version

Before we went to Europe last year, Chast read somewhere that the City of Colmar in Alsace has inspired Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Belle’s town is modeled from it. We just got to see that place. Coming there, we were mesmerized how pretty the place was. It was just like in the animated movie, very colorful and kickass.

They have a fountain too.

This year, the live action version came out which starred Emma Watson as Belle. Unlike others, I have not waited for this movie to come out. I know it will be different in some way. We saw the movie like two weeks after it was first screened. I like the last song though. Celine Dion singing How Does a Moment Last Forever was touching. That voice. I knew it must be Celine Dion.

Back at Belle’s town, it is not what I imagined.

The picture does not show how the houses look like but the walls is not Alsatian.

The windows are not Alsatian. Not cool. The town is just a cold creepy place.

SUD - Sila

Once in a while a good OPM comes out. SUD released this song maybe last year. I saw this played a lot on TFC when we were staying at California. It was just a performance video then.

Bitoy on Bubble Gang, when he stick on some old tricks from the old Bubble Gang Days would release a parody of a song. This time it is for Sila.

With that, it made me search for the song too, on Youtube. They have a video for the song now.

Good video. What's better of course is the comment section.

Buffy Reunion Pics

The internet showed me this:

more from this article

I am a Buffy fan but I kinda got in late. There was the spinoff Angel when I started watching in Studio 23. Nonetheless, I still watched it until it ended. Still, memories. I guess I am a Sarah Michelle Gellar fan. Too bad the TV series based on Cruel Intentions was not picked-up by NBC.

undulatus asperatus

I'd like to close my eyes and go numb
but there's a cold wind coming from
the top of the highest high rise today
Its not a breeze cuz it blows hard
Yes and it wants me to discard
The humanity I know, watched the warmth blow away

We officially have a new cloud category. I read it on The Verge and that Incubus song came to mind

The Sia - Zero 7 Connection

We were on our way to dinner to this tendon place in Tanjong Pagar .The place has  only two dishes on the menu: the special and the vegetarian tendon. We ordered the special. There was a long queue outside. The place closes at 10, we arrived around 9:30 but there were still a long queue. Place must serve good food for this much people queuing. To kill time I look at my twitter feed then I saw this:

Comments of course is crazy. Some people does not know that before she was famous, she showed her face. She just do it now just so people will focus on her music, not her looks. One thing I did not know is that before, she used to sing with Zero 7. That made me think if she was the one singing on that one Zero 7 song which has very catchy first lines.

It is indeed her. I had no idea until now. Nice to know.

By the way, this is a picture of the tendon we ate.

It looks OK and very filling. I don't always take picture of food but I had to show this to my sister. e love Tendon Tenya in Shinjuku. This has been the only tendon I have eaten in a long time.

Riverdale

I have been trying my best to watch this new CW Series based on my beloved comic book Archie. The seventh episode finally shows a cameo of the familiar characters an avid reader should know.

Archie and his best friend Jughead

Veronica Lodge

I don't know who these are. Might be the Blossom guy and Betty's sister?? (not on the comics)

So why did I say cameo? It is because the show is nothing like the original. Its just a sohw with names based on the Archie comics. Here, Jughead is dating Betty. Betty is a rich girl, Veronica is broke.

Very far out. The main character in this show must be Jughead. Everybody hates Archie, Everything is dark even Pop Tate's Chocklit Shop, the ice cream parlor has very dark lighting. How can anyone eat ice cream on that place?

This is how the characters appear on the show. Did I say it is dark?
